Roller Derby Update...

I went to our regular training tonight with Cardiff Roller Girls (CRG) which was for 'beginners', we're recruiting new players at the moment and we've got a great group of newbies as well as some really strong veteran skaters who I am always eager to please and learn from! I'm also proud of myself after tonight, I worked hard, I improved my cross overs and speed and enjoyed working with the other girls.

I haven't got any photos from the session, but we have got a new logo...

I love skating, nothing else matters when I'm on the track apart from how well I'm doing, how well I'm working with the others, how fast I'm going, if I can stop and how in control I am! Love it!!

Aww, I miss skating, boo! Might be helping to NSO in the New Year, which will be good but not the same :(

I had an awesome time tonight! It is so much fun and like you say, you can just forget everything else. I feel like I have met some really lovely people too, everyone is really friendly and puts so much effort in to help newbies like me, I love it!!!
